Busy with projects? Deadlines? Meetings? Presentations? Interviews? You’re not alone.
Completely fluent in English? Have a strong command of English grammar? Able to use a variety of simple & complex sentence structures in spoken English? Possess a good range of vocabulary to adequately express your ideas? All this, but you’re aware that your listener(s) is/are struggling to understand you. You’re not alone.
15-20 minutes for steady improvement
I always tell the folks that I work—global professionals of different industries and language backgrounds–that 15-20 minutes per day might be enough to help them improve their spoken English during our 6-10 week training programs. I tend to prioritize active, mindful practice, but never dismiss the more receptive practice of listening to and absorbing another language.

How about signing up for my weekly newsletter for starters? I’d say that in about 85% of these newslettery emails, I share what I’ve learned, practiced, read and experienced in my field as an applied linguist, both in the university and business world. The other 15 % include program updates. Updates that are intended to help the folks that I serve.
